Synopsis

In a world where fate can be a cruel mistress, Jungwoo Min possessed an extraordinary gift – the ability to perceive paths that inevitably led to misfortune and disaster. This unique capacity, known as the “Eyes of Misfortune,” allowed him to see into the fabric of reality, foreseeing the impending doom that threatened the lives of innocent people.

Armed with this insight, Jungwoo decided to use his power for the greater good. Disguising himself as a terrorist, he embarked on a mission to prevent these catastrophic events from unfolding. With each successful intervention, he managed to save countless lives, but in doing so, he inadvertently cultivated a reputation as a menace to society.

The people he was trying to rescue began to fear him, perceiving him as a threat rather than a hero. This paradoxical situation weighed heavily on Jungwoo’s conscience, as he struggled to reconcile his noble intentions with the public’s perception of him as a supposed terrorist. The media dubbed him “Terror Man,” a moniker that struck a chord of irony, as he was, in fact, a force for good.

As Jungwoo continued to use his power to save lives, he began to notice a disturbing trend. The more he succeeded in averting disasters, the unhappier he became. It was as if the weight of his responsibility, coupled with the fear and mistrust of those he was trying to protect, slowly drained the color from his world.

The line between heroism and villainy grew increasingly blurred, and Jungwoo found himself questioning the true nature of his actions. Was he truly making a difference, or was he merely perpetuating a cycle of fear and dependence? The answers eluded him, leaving him to grapple with the complexities of his existence.

Torn between his desire to help others and the crushing weight of his own unhappiness, Jungwoo Min’s journey became a poignant exploration of the human condition. This is the story of a hero, lost in a world where the very act of saving others can lead to despair. It is a tale of the unfortunate reality of trying to make a difference, even when the world doesn’t understand, and the heavy price one must pay for being a force for good.
